Yesterday got back my o'level chinese result. i am pondering whether i should consider retaking? I know that other people will say that i should be satisfied with my O'level Chinese Result or perhapes i should. Because i got A2 for my Chinese on the second attempt and the previous score was a B3. So now,I am in a ambivalent mood of should i retake to strike for a A1 or i should just stick with it? And the MOE system is ,if i didn't managed to get a A1 for the second attempt and i got a B3 , my O'level grades will not stick with A2 but B3 instead! how disheartening it is! Atfirst, when i received my result i do felt a slight happiness for a distinction but a moment later a disheartening and anger gush into my heart! i hated myself for not getting a A1. Thinking that maybe , just a 1-2 marks to get a A1! i really did worked hard for my chinese. Alot of people told me that i should felt contented and satisfied with it. Let me get this clear! "IT IS DEFINETLY NOT BECAUSE I AM GREEDY!" The reason i will felt disheartening is because the courses i wanted to apply in Temasaek Poly cut off point is 14! My Chinese are the only subject i think i can get a Distinction. Others subjects is quite impossible for me to get distinction. After seeing the 2009 4E and 5N taking back their O'level results , a sad and worried profound effects on me. So...hope god bless me!
